Welcome to Biology! I am originally from Odessa and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. My certifications include ESL, Generalist 1-8, and Biology. I also keep my yearly GT update and have taken a 30 hour Pre AP training course. Throughout the years, I have also had the opportunity to participate in Sandra Kaplan's depth and complexity program at The University of Connecticut, as well as other trainings she has hosted. I have been in the classroom now for twenty-four years and truly love my job!

  When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons, traveling, participating in outdoor sporting activities, and attending various sporting events.
