Hello!
Welcome to Middle School/ High School!!!
My career in education started in 2007 as a special education teacher at Noel Elementary here in Odessa. I taught for 2 years, and while I loved teaching, becoming a counselor in the secondary school setting has been a personal goal since I was a teenager myself. I spent 8 years at Bonham Middle School before having the opportunity to take the position here at Compass in 2017.
I am married to my best friend, Travis and we have been blessed with our son Preston who also attends Compass. Outside of school, we like to hang out with each other and doing anything that keeps us laughing!!!
Compass has been a such a blessing both professionally and personally. I love our family atmosphere and having the opportunity to develop true relationships with our students and their families. I look forward to meeting all of our kiddos and watching them transition from elementary into young adults!
