A little bit about me…

This will be my 10th year teaching elementary school! This is my 2nd year at Compass and I absolutely love it here! Go Cougars!!!

I have a son in 4th grade and a daughter that is a freshman in high school, both here at Compass with me! We love to spend time together going to movies, eating out, and playing Mexican train (dominoes) with our family.  When I’m not teaching, you can find me cuddling with my doggies, reading a good book, or spending time with friends, family, or serving at my church! My weekends are usually busy with church, competitive cheer, and football! 

I am a born and raised Midland girl, but I went to high school at Grady High School (north of Stanton) and graduated in 2003.  I went to college mostly in southern California, but finished my associate's degree at Midland College with a major in History.  I then finished my bachelor's degree at UTPB in 2012 with a major in Multidisciplinary Studies. I am a certified teacher with certifications as a Generalist 4-8, Generalist PK-6, and I am also certified as an ESL teacher.
