Mrs. Kimberly James

About Me:  I've been married to my wonderful husband, Brad for 35 incredible years. We've built a life together filled with love, laughter, and endless memories. We are blessed with two amazing daughters who have grown into strong, independent women.

Family: My eldest daughter, Kelsey, is happily married to Greg and is a Physical Therapist.

Our youngest daughter, Kallie, has found her partner in Colby, and are expecting their first baby, Barrett, in September.

Pets: Our family wouldn't be complete without our two fur babies, Harley and Neeleigh, our beloved dogs, are always by our side, bringing us comfort and unconditional love.

Career: I am passionate about education and have been a dedicated teacher for 29 years. It's been a fulfilling journey, and I'm excited to embark on a new chapter at Compass Academy, where I will be sharing my expertise and love for teaching Math.  My commitment to fostering a love for learning in my students remains as strong as ever.

Education: I graduated from high school in the charming town of Eunice, New Mexico.  I pursued a degree at the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB). I graduated with a major in History and a minor in Life Science.

Certifications: Throughout my career, I've acquired various certifications that enable me to make a positive impact in the classroom. I am Texas certified in self-contained education for grades 1-8, History for grades 1-8, and core subjects for grades 4-8. Being designated as a Master Teacher is an honor I hold dear, and I'm dedicated to continuing to excel in my role as an educator.
