Meet the Teacher
Hello! I'm Mrs. Harrington! I am so excited to be at Compass and be your child's teacher! This will be my 19th year teaching First Grade! I taught 18 years in ECISD and earned "Recognized" designation from the Texas Education Agency. I graduated from UTPB and am certified to teach grades 1-8.
I am married to my high school sweetheart for 29 years and have 2 sons that are married and 1 new granddaughter. I love spending quality time with my family and friends!
I am so excited to be a part of the Compass faculty and first grade team! I have heard great things about Compass and cannot wait to have a great year!
Some of my favorite things:
- drinks: unsweet coconut tea, hot white chocolate mocha, iced blondie, Olipop and occassionally a Coke
- food places: Rosa's, Texas Burger(for the ice cream), Torchy's, Carambas, any Mexican food
- snacks: all of the chocolate, trail mixes, nut mix, popcorn
