My name is Natalie Branecky, and I am the elementary counselor at Compass. I was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. I graduated from Permian High School in 2000, from Texas Tech in 2004 and from Angelo State University in 2017. My certification is in General Education, grades PreK-4th and Special Education, grades PreK-12th.  My master's degree is in Guidance & Counseling. 

In 2008, I married my best friend, Shane Branecky. He is the lead and founding pastor at Community Bible Church, a church we planted in 2016.  

I became a mother to my first daughter, Ava, in 2009. She is my mini-me. She loves all things dance and cheer. We are excited to watch as she cheers for the Compass teams on the first ever Compass Cougars Cheer Team. We are very proud of her. 

In 2013, I became a mother to my second amazing daughter, Emme. She is my constant companion. She loves playing volleyball and basketball, and she is very witty. Her big, blue eyes always make my heart melt. 

My family means everything to me, and I know that every parent sends Compass what is most precious to them. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend a year learning and growing alongside your children. I cannot imagine a more rewarding profession than that of one where I help students reach their full potential academically and emotionally.
