Valentine's Day Party

Dear Parents,

It’s party time again! We will have a Valentine’s Day Party on Friday, February 14th at 9:45 – 10:15.  Students will be able to wear Valentine’s Day theme shirts.

Parents are welcome, however, due to space only 1 family member may come to the party.  If more than 1 family member attends, they will be asked to leave.  After the party students are free to leave.  Students who will be leaving early, parents will need to sign them out with their classroom teacher.

Teachers will create a volunteer spot calendar with items needed for the party.  Please sign up on volunteer spot to bring goodies, not with the classroom teacher.  The goodies include:

·      3 dozen doughnuts

·      3 dozen pigs in a blanket

·      2 cases of water (24 packs)

·      3 dozen cookies

·      fruit cups (already divided into individual cups to be passed out easily to students)

·      napkins and plates.

For the party, students will need Valentine’s Day cards for all 25 students.  Students will pass out the Valentine’s Day cards that morning.  Class list is in Bee Book.

Just as a reminder, Friday February 14th is the end of the six weeks, so students will be released at 11:30.  All students who are not picked up by 11:30 will be sent to after school care.

If there are any questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

 Thank you,

2nd Grade Teachers
