Hey there! I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am about this upcoming year!  This is my 9th year here at Compass Academy and it's been an absolute blessing to be a part of something so amazing!

 

I was born and raised here in Odessa and was blessed with the opportunity to become a Red Raider and graduate from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Mass Communications.  Wreck ‘Em! I am also a 2002 graduate of Pemian High School and you can find me in the stands on Friday nights still cheering on my Permian Panthers.  GO MOJO! This will be my eleventh year teaching and I absolutely love it! I cannot imagine doing anything else, except for maybe working as an entertainment correspondent. (I dream big!)  I am certified as a 4th-8th grade Generalist, 7th-12th grade English Language Arts, and ESL. I also have previously taught for 3 years as a 4th grade teacher with ECISD.  This year will be my fourth year teaching 6th grade Social Studies  and I am so excited to see what this year holds!

 

When I am not exploring the world with your children, I get to explore the world with my two amazing babies.  We love blasting our favorite music on the radio, traveling wherever the wind takes us, supporting our Red Raiders and other favorite sports teams, playing sports, watching movies, and laughing til we cry. My kids also participate in several sports and you can find us at the courts or the fields, stuffing our face with snacks and cheering loud.

 

This year is going to be quite the adventure and I absolutely cannot wait to share it with you!
