Hello and Welcome!

My name is Megan Greene! The 2023-2024 school year will be my 6th year teaching at Compass Academy, and my 10th year teaching elementary school.

I am 33 years old and was born and raised right here in Odessa, Texas.

I graduated from Permian High School in 2008. I continued my education at UTPB and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in English. I taught for 4 years in ECISD as a 3rd grade teacher. In 2017, I graduated with my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction of Mathematics and again in 2022 with my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with Principal Certification both from UTA.

Some of my hobbies are crafting and spending time on adventures with my family! I love to kayak, and enjoy spending time fishing, and boating at our lake house.

I am married to an awesome guy named Corey and have a precious 6 year old son named Coleman! I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties that enjoy the traveling and going to the lake just as much as we do!

Some of my favorites include the color purple, anything chocolate, cooking/making new recipes, crafting, and watching college football (Hook 'Em Horns) and Texas Rangers Baseball! I also enjoy watching Netflix and DIY home projects!I love UNsweet Coconut tea from HTEAO, and love ALL THINGS OCEAN! My favorite animals are SHARKS and Killer Whales!
