English III

This is my fourth year at Compass, and my 22nd year in education. I started my career in ECISD in 1999, taught for five years, then left for two years. After returning, I taught middle school speech and English, then moved to high school, where I taught both speech and English. 

 

In 2020, I made the move to Compass, and taught English II, then English IV for the next two years. I'm excited to be teaching English III this year, and being the yearbook sponsor. 

 

I was born and raised in west, central Florida, but moved to Odessa in the summer of 1982 after my father transferred with Phillips 66 to Goldsmith. I married my husband in 1987, had our son in 1993, completed my bachelor's degree in Speech in 1997, then earned my master's in Professional Education in 2004.

 

My husband and I are the proud grandparents of the two cutest little boys ever born! We enjoy traveling, spending time at our lake house, and with our family and friends.
