Hi! My name is Laiza Chavez and I was born and raised in Odessa, TX. In December of 2007, I graduated with a Bachelors of Multidisciplinary Studies in Elementary Education from UTPB. In December of 2009, I graduated from UTPB for the second time with a Masters Degree in Bilingual Education. This will be my 14th year teaching. I have a 16 year old son named Gaael. He attends Compass Academy and will be a Junior. I enjoy traveling and going to the movies. I am excited to make this my best year yet!
