Welcome to P.E.

My name is Candice Matthews and I am very excited to be your child’s PE coach. I was born and raised here in Odessa. In 2000, I graduated from Odessa High School and from Texas Tech in 2005 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies.  This year begins my 19th year to be in education. My certifications include Vocational Home Economics (6th-12th) & Physical Education (K-12th).  

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jason, 17 years. We have two precious girls, Madison & Payton. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and attending sporting events, reading and traveling.

A few of my favorite things are hanging out with the family & the beach!
