This represents an important step forward for Compass Academy and reflects the hard work, commitment, and shared responsibility of our students, staff, families, Board of Directors, and entire Compass community.

Progress Worth Celebrating

Compared to our previous accountability rating, Compass Academy has improved from a “D” to a “C.” That movement represents more than a letter grade, it represents the daily work happening in our classrooms, increased focus on student achievement, and a commitment across our school community to move Compass forward.

We celebrate our students for accepting the challenge and continuing to grow. We celebrate our teachers and staff for their dedication and commitment to our students. And we thank our families, Board of Directors, and community for continuing to support and believe in Compass Academy.

Our Work Continues

While we are proud of this progress, we know there is still a lot of work to be done. A “C” is an important step forward, but it is not our destination.

Our results clearly show where we must continue to improve, particularly in Academic Growth and School Progress. We will remain focused on strong instruction, high expectations, student growth, attendance, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

We have seen what is possible when our school community works together. Now, our challenge is to build on this momentum and continue raising the bar.

Today, we celebrate the progress. Tomorrow, we continue the work.
