Compass Academy is fully aware of the forecast for potential inclement weather in our area beginning sometime Friday (1/23).
The safety of our students & staff continues to be a top priority and with that we will make the decisions on any possible school closures, delayed starts, or early releases with all the evidence we have in front of us. We will be monitoring the weather conditions very carefully, and will be joining a NWS zoom weather update daily at 3:15 from the NWS in Midland.
When a decision is made several things will happen: (1) all call from the district will go out to all parents/guardians & staff, (2) all campus principals will send out emails to their parents and guardians, (3) local media outlets in Odessa/Midland will be alerted, (4) we will post on Facebook, (5) and NO announcement means school is operating on a regular schedule.

This past Sunday, the 33 Lead Foundation hosted their 5th Annual banquet. We were able to honor two of our students selectted to receive scholarships. Sareyah Hinojoz and Caleb Ortiz. They are both excellent representatives of hard work, character and leadership. We are very proud of them both, and can't wait to see qhat their future holds..

Middle-High School choir concert was fabulous! Compass is so fortunate to have three of the best fine arts teachers. Also, we have the best group of kiddos ever. Thankful for all of our parents and boosters for all of their support!
