Welcome to 9th Grade

Welcome to 9th grade!!! I am starting my 23rd year of teaching, and my 5th year at Compass.  I have taught just about everything, from kindergarten to sixth grade, from ELAR to math and all subjects in between.  I am certified in Early Childhood Education as well as Elementary Education grades 1-8. This year, I have set out on new adventure by moving up to high school. I am not originally from Odessa, but have called it home for 22 years. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelors in science majoring in multi-disciplinary studies and have a minor in English. GUNS UP!!! I have been married to my husband Mike for 22 years. He is an Odessan, born and raised. We have an 18 year old daughter, Aubrey, who graduated from Compass last May and currently attends Texas A&M. I enjoy cooking, traveling with my family and have recently taken up golf and pickle ball.
