Welcome!!!! I'm so excited to be teaching another year here at Compass Academy!!!!
I was born and raised in Odessa. I attended Ross Elementary, Hood Jr. High and Permian High School. I graduated from UTPB in 2003 with a Bachelors of Arts in Humanities with an Early Childhood endorsement. I began my career 21 years ago at San Jacinto Elementary teaching kindergarten and 1st grade then moving to Compass to teach 2nd.
I have been married for 31 years and we have three beautiful children. Our oldest has a degree in dance education and we are blessed to have her back teaching here in Odessa. She married in September 2019 and we welcomed our new son-in-law to the family. Our two youngest will both be juniors here at Compass. Our son plays hockey for the Jr. Jackalopes and our youngest daughter loves her dogs and hanging out with her friends.
I look forward to an exciting year!
